Many organisations have sustainability anchored into their strategy. MYSS advises you on how to ensure that your premises meet your sustainability goals. As a basic principle, we check if your situation is up to scratch with the most recent laws and regulations, as this is where opportunities and risks both lie. In doing so, we will, of course, look together with you for any potential financial incentives in the form of subsidies and funding.

Many companies do not yet realise that per January 1, 2023, office buildings consisting of more than 100 m² need to at least have a C energy label. This obligation means that there needs to be a substantial investment in sustainability. If your building does not meet the C energy label requirement, you will no longer be able to use it as an office building. And by 2030, offices must have an A energy label. Therefore, investments that are to be made over the next few years should already aim to meet the stricter requirements for 2030.

Partners

The partners whom we work with are familiar with the most progressive certifications in the field of sustainability. They often have several BREEAM, LEED and WELL experts in service who can help you achieve and maintain these certificates, but who are, given their background, also perfectly capable of handling less intensive trajectories.

Ultimately, sustainable real estate must contribute to a healthy and attractive work environment. This will benefit your productivity levels, recruitment of new employees as well as the image you portray to customers and partners. By making your premises more sustainable, the operational costs, specifically those of energy and maintenance, will also be reduced. This adds value to your organisation on both the revenue and cost sides.
